There are some minimum requirements that Maryland requires in order to apply for a driving instructors license:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be a high school graduate
- Have had a valid Maryland drivers license for at least 3 years with no points
- Have no convictions for any crime of moral turpitude
- Be drug free and in good physical condition
