The Maryland MVA has changed the driver license testing procedure at the Bel Air branch as part of a statewide effort to improve driver safety.
License candidates will now venture onto public roads after successfully completing maneuvers on a closed course. The closed course includes Parallel Parking and a Reverse Two Point Turnabout. This is a lengthy term to describe backing into a parking space on the right. The old turnabout and backing in a straight line have been eliminated from the test.
